The new FlipX Advanced motion detectors with flexible lenses provide zone 0 and Grade 3 coverage

Optex, one of the leading manufacturers of intrusion sensors whose products are distributed by Hommax, has launched an improved version of its FlipX dual-lens detectors.
Like their predecessors, the new sensors feature a rotating lens that allows the sensor to be adapted to provide both wide and narrow detection in a single sensor, and are now available in Grade 3.
‘The “rotatable lens” is a cost-effective and quick solution that provides installers with two sensors in one for wide and narrow detection in any high-security environment, including banks, shops with high-value goods, logistics and luxury homes,’ says Mayasa Kida, Managing Director of Optex.
FlipX: technology, design and cutting edge
FlipX Advanced sensors provide a higher level of security than their predecessors and feature zone 0 coverage. The intelligent dual anti-masking function protects the sensors by generating an alert if they are covered.
It also has an additional feature that ensures good detection and reduces false alarms: Double conductive shielding prevents false alarms caused by changes in light and temperature or radio frequency interference (RFI). In addition, FlipX Advanced sensors feature ‘super-high PIR sensitivity’.
FlipX is available in two models: FLX-A-AM with PIR technology and FLX-A-DAM with dual technology.
