Hommax contributes to the restoration of La Casa de la Cultura in Picanya, affected after the hurricane.

Last November 2024, the town of Picanya was affected by a strong DANA that caused considerable damage in many towns in Valencia, especially in the southern towns. This storm also had an impact on our own facilities, in areas that we were able to recover quickly with the help of our entire team, as we told you in another article.

Aware of the importance of supporting the recovery of the town, Hommax has decided to contribute with its donation to the rehabilitation of the Casa de la Cultura, an initiative carried out together with the Town Hall of Picanya. The decision was taken last Friday 17th January at a meeting held by representatives of both organisations, who agreed that participating in this project promotes the cultural and social development of the town, with a positive impact on all the inhabitants of Picanya.

This emblematic building represents an essential meeting point for residents and visitors to Picanya, offering plays, adult education and other cultural activities that promote learning and social relations. From workshops and conferences to shows and exhibitions, the Casa de la Cultura is an engine of social and cultural enrichment for the entire local community.
