In recent years, architecture has opted for open spaces, high ceilings, direct sunlight, environments with vegetation or the presence of pets, which are decisive factors for improving the accuracy of indoor sensors. The FlipX series brings together all OPTEX expertise in one optimised product. Thanks to its rotating lens, a single OPTEX detector can adapt to multiple scenarios without the need for additional accessories: from wide coverage (12x12 or 15x15 m) to protection in "corridor" mode (18 or 24 m), simply by rotating the lens.
OPTEX FlipX Versions
Available in three versions:
· FlipX Standard (Grade 2):
Ideal for residential, commercial and semi-controlled environments.
· FlipX Professional (Grade 2):
With advanced optical filters for environments with high sun exposure or intense artificial lights, such as schools or specialty shops.
· FlipX Advanced (Grade 3):
Includes anti-masking with or without microwave sensor, perfect for high security installations such as banking, premium retail or high value housing.
FlipX Key Features: Versatility, Performance and Design
· Modern and discreet design, thanks to its new ASA plastic, it integrates easily into any architectural environment.
· Installation up to 3 metres high, exceeding the market standard and adapting to offices with false ceilings or open spaces.
· Unique in the intrusion market with Grade 2 and Grade 3, offering maximum versatility for projects with different security requirements.
· SMDA (Multidimensional Digital Analysis) Technology OPTEX's patented technology minimises false alarms caused by pets, plants, temperature changes or intense lighting.
· Full compatibility with intrusion panels thanks to its flexible connection system and end-of-line resistors option (can be installed via pin or directly on the terminal block).
· Patented optical shielding, which protects the sensor against interference from sunlight, incandescent or artificial light, guaranteeing maximum operational stability.
