Hikvision launches Motion Detection 2.0, Hikvision's new Artificial Intelligence-based technology
By Hommax SmartSD
The new Motion Detection 2.0 video surveillance range promises to revolutionise the market.
Hikvision, our largest CCTV partner, has revolutionised the video surveillance market with AcuSense technology, thanks to the intelligent motion detection of its cameras.
This technology makes it possible to detect humans and vehicles, without interference or false alarms caused by, for example, various weather agents, changes in light or the movement of an animal, which are often the most common reasons for false alarms.

Motion Detection 2.0 incorporates new AcuSense technology that provides clear differentiation between different objects in the environment, as well as isolating and providing the video fragment according to the configured event. This development saves security teams a great deal of time, as they will be able to quickly have the necessary and specific evidence that triggered the alarm signal.
Advantages of Motion Detection 2.0
- Allows you to easily set up alerts when people or vehicles enter an environment. In addition, if it is a busy area, the systems allows certain areas of the screen to be delimited and only generate alerts if a person or vehicle enters a previously delimited unauthorised area.
- It facilitates video sequences based on the appearance of people or vehicles during a specific period, which means that hours of video do not have to be manually reviewed.
- In addition to the sophisticated functions, the devices are quick and easy to set up and use.
