All OPTEX sensors are 100% digital, even the basic models. Their advanced signal processing automatically adjusts sensitivity to adverse weather conditions—such as rain, wind, extreme heat or direct sunlight—minimising false positives through patented multidimensional logic that analyses the environment in real time.

OPTEX applies a multi-layer security approach: perimeter, proximity, envelope and interior. Detection at the proximity layer allows intruders to be identified before they reach critical areas, triggering early alarms with maximum effectiveness.
3. Sun and interference protection
OPTEX sensors incorporate double conductive shielding that acts as a shield against optical and radio frequency interference. Thanks to their exclusive optical filters, they maintain stability even in direct sunlight or intense reflections. In addition, advanced models integrate ‘Super High’ mode, an extra sensitivity capable of detecting minimal thermal differences even at 40 °C ambient temperature.
